An official selection of the 2016 Tribeca Film Festival, "The Artist of Skid Row" VR documentary highlights the life of Ramiro Puentes, an outstanding artist who has risen from crippling poverty and now uses his artistic talent to reimagine the streets of the poorest neighborhood in Los Angeles – Skid Row. For filming, Spherica partnered with RYOT and used its proprietary hardware stabilized camera rig and rover to capture fully stabilized moving shots to drive the story and capture viewers' attention. Thanks to Spherica’s technology, viewers can feel as though they are walking through the streets of Skid Row with Ramiro Puentes creating an overall more authentic experience.
